About my artistic practice
I work abstractly and paint in series, drawing on themes from science. Over the past year, I have begun to map out and explore my understanding of what reality actually is by using a visual language and a process borrowed from physics and chemistry. I use natural forces such as gravity, friction, and pressure to apply paint, attempting to give form to hypotheses about how the objective world interacts with human perception, and how they influence one another.
Currently, I am working on two series in parallel, "Catching the Void" and "Light & Matter," exploring physical processes related to the micro and macro scales."
